Your writng is based on the simple reality of the things you see, yet it is so poigniant. It hits the reality over the head like a hammer. The reader is literally walking around with you, seeing what you see. I still enjoy your writing the most when you read it!

Your are so funny in an ironic sort of way. I love it. The irony of it! Would Davy Crocket have imagined that Ripley Believe It Not and 3D movies surround the place where he died, where one Santa Anna’s soldiers closed in. The real America- driven not by love of victories past, but of money to be made.

Past meets present? I found myself thinking of your cut and the Bowie knife inventer that fought at the Alamo. (Not David Bowie but the other one).I like how you say so much without many words. Gets people wondering. Things that make you go UMMMMMM?
